Hey guys,

I know I know, I should know how to install Fedora by now!!!

Well I do, but i have a problem.

I finally fixed my laptop so that it works again so I installed Fedora Core 4... Great, it installed... But now when it comes up with the setup screens -- i.e. do you agree to the agreement, etc, -- I can't read it!! The graphics settings aren't correct, but I can't get out of that window to change anything in any config file.

What do u suggest? Smile

..boot in to the fedora cd, in to rescue (command prompt)... you might have to mount your root dir somehere on the temp layout. then make sure the xfs server is being intialized / or be sure the proper resolution/font is being displayed if that seems to be the problem. Also, you can always disable the graphical runlevel to go righ to text prompt, like real geeks do.

Well, never mind, I fixed it. I did a rescue, chrootz into my sysimage and changed my xorg.conf to the correct stuff! What it was, my monitor wasn't set. It was unknown, but I changed it to the right stuff and all is well Smile
